Reminders

reminderIf your child is going to be absent, for whatever reason, please remember to telephone the Preschool staff on: 07958-183-739. This not only helps with planning but is also useful to know if there are any bugs, or illnesses that could affect other children. Child absence is taken very seriously and it is therefore very important that we know why children are off and when they will be returning.

  • If you are going to be late collecting your child, please notify us as soon as possible. There is a late fee charge which is applied after a verbal warning: £5.00 for the first 15 minutes or part of it and an additional £5.00 for every 15minutes, or part of it thereafter.
  • Please label all items of your child’s clothing. We are not able to keep track of them unless they are named. The church building is used by other groups and as such, we must inform you, that outside of preschool hours, we cannot not be responsible for the bags, coats, clothing etc. that you choose to leave on your child’s peg.
  • There is a copy of our policies and procedures in the foyer area. We have an ‘all weather’ policy and therefore children should come into preschool in appropriate clothing, as the outdoor area will be in use each day
  • Please let a member of staff know if your phone number or address has changed. It is crucial that our records are kept up to date for each child.
  • Our sickness policy states that children who are either vomiting or having diarrhoea will not be allowed to attend the setting until at least 48 hours after the symptoms have ceased; please remember to stick to this rule, as if children are brought back to the setting before being completely cleared of either of these, it makes it more likely that other children can also become ill.
  • t-shirts are on sale now at £5 each and sweatshirts at £8.50. All children are required to wear them, as the official uniform. Please speak to a member of staff to buy yours.
  • Fee Payments - Over recent months we have had to remind some parents about paying fees. Please remember fee payments must be made either at the start of the month (if paying monthly) or regularly on a weekly basis. It is very important that parents/carers acknowledge this and are reminded that it was part of the Terms & Conditions signed before each child started. We cannot efficiently if parents continue to pay their children’s fees late.
